Zusammenfassung: | The one-dimensional organic charge-transfer complex potassium--tetracyanoquinodimethane shows negative differential resistance and a switching behavior between high- and low-resistance states. By controlling this switching behavior through the use of external circuit components, we achieved current oscillation at room temperature. Microscopic Raman measurements in the current oscillation indicate that the nonlinear conducting current flows throughout the crystal. |
