Zusammenfassung:The phase transitions in solid lithium stearate have been observed using saturation narrowed spectra, whose high signal-to-noise ratio is advantageous particularly in cases where unfavorable packing factor for the sample or long T 1 makes the normal unsaturated absorption spectrum difficult to obtain. The saturation narrowed spectra are compared with unsaturated absorption spectra of lithium stearate and are discussed in terms of Provotorov's theory of saturation.
