Zusammenfassung: | Recently, the waterfront area of Tokyo supporting the Japanese economy has changed from the industrial landuse to multi-landuse. It is important to establish a new ideal land use vision in order to promote economic activity in Tokyo waterfront area in this recent condition. The purpose of this study is to propose an evaluation method for grasping the economic activity situation focusing on the small district units, and to consider the spatial dynamics from the viewpoint of economic activity by applying this method in Tokyo waterfront. As a result of this research, this paper presented a method of grasping the diversity and agglomeration of population and employment in small district units, and clarified the economic activity conditions of Tokyo waterfront area. |
