Zusammenfassung: | Our objective area is Himeshima village which is an isolated island that has many handicaps because of its location. But it didn't merge with other municipalities. Thus it probably has some hints to solve problems that many sparsely populated areas have. Therefore we firstly investigated residents' evaluations about living situations by a questionnaire and made clear the evaluation structure by Principal Component Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. We surveyed the location of facilities and their communication activities. And in order to understand better the situation of each area of this island, we calculated five index numbers: index of primary and secondary industry; tertiary industry; living supports; improvement of infrastructure and communication. Finally, we clarified the relation between the five indexes and the satisfaction of the residents by Correlation Analysis. |
