A Study of Evaluation on Restorative Post Earthquake Urban Redevelopment Project in Shin-Nagata Station South Area Using a Questionnaire for Managers

In Shin-Nagata station south area, big redevelopment project has been carried out after the earthquake. In these 10 years, the number of stores has been increased in a part of the area where the project was completed. In this study, investigations are made using the result of a questionnaire for shop managers. The purpose is as follows.1. Grasp of the state of stores in the redevelopment project. The rate of vacant stores reaches 24%.2. Investigation of the state of their business, the necessity of the project and the problems of the project. This chapter, illustrated by the result of the questionnaire, is the most important part of this study. 3. Analyze of the alteration of their business, the rate of recovery and their wishes for the redevelopment project, comparing to the result of questionnaires done in 4 and 8 years after the earthquake.
