Zusammenfassung:A method of supercritical fluid extraction of the main furocoumarins (bergapten, xanthotoxin, and isopimpinellin, compounds used as photosensitizers in PUVA therapy) from seeds of apiaceous plant Ammi Majus was developed. A technique for analyzing the composition of extracts and for isolating individual furocoumarins with the help of supercritical fluid chromatography was proposed.
