Zusammenfassung: | The amount of hydrogen peroxide formed in aqueous solutions directly in the course of microwave irradiation is considerably larger than the amounts detected previously in post-irradiated solutions. The degree of saturation of aqueous solutions with a gas is an important factor for the occurrence of microwave processes. The experiments were performed in aerated solutions and in solutions preliminarily saturated with Ar. The results obtained suggest that radical products of water decomposition are formed as a result of SHF breakdown of gas bubbles present in the solution. |
