Zusammenfassung:Hardness deposition in boiler systems is an inevitable and progressive process. Often good treatment of feed water and control of condensate chemical composition cannot prevent entirely hardness scale. Scaling in boilers results in failure of heat exchange, temperature rise of pipe walls causing higher power costs and safety loss of this type of equipment. Therefore, the actual objective is to develop a reagent preventing scale buildup on heating parts of boilers, vapor superheaters, feed-water economizers, and other types of heat exchange equipment, operating with water heating or evaporation. This work includes researches on development of scale inhibitor for boiler water systems. It was made a selection of inhibitor composition and properties of the inhibitor were studied. It was approved, that the suggested scale inhibitor is able to remove previously formed hardness scale.
