Development and study of modified film coatings with controlled transport properties

Interaction of citrus pectin with cefotaxime and 4-methyl-5-oxymethyluracyl was studied by spectrophotometric methods. New film coatings with these medicinal preparations for mesh implants were produced on the basis of the citrus pectin-polyvinyl alcohol matrix. It was demonstrated that supramolecul...

Zusammenfassung:Interaction of citrus pectin with cefotaxime and 4-methyl-5-oxymethyluracyl was studied by spectrophotometric methods. New film coatings with these medicinal preparations for mesh implants were produced on the basis of the citrus pectin-polyvinyl alcohol matrix. It was demonstrated that supramolecular formations of the polymeric formulation affect the transport properties of the films. A high antibacterial activity of film coatings with cefotaxime was revealed.
