Zusammenfassung: | The ultrasound wave propagation in a sample of finite length under parametric resonance conditions caused by the modulation of sound velocity in a magnetostrictive material by a variable magnetic field, is simulated numerically to fill in the gaps in the earlier analytical solutions for discrete values of sample length to acoustic wavelength ratio, demonstrating a high sensitivity of the reversed signal gain to small variations in the above ratio. |
