Zusammenfassung:The flow of plasma with low gas-dynamic pressure transversely to the magnetic field, when electrons are transported under conditions of prevalence of collisions with neutrals, is studied theoretically and experimentally. Electron heating in the electric field formed by the plasma flow and electron drift (losses) to channel walls in the presence of the potential barrier between the walls and the flow are taken into account. The maximum possible ion density in the flow overcoming the magnetic barrier is found.
