Zusammenfassung:The results of the repeated in-tube nondestructive testing (INDT) of a gas pipeline section were analyzed. It was established that the process of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) develops at an increasing rate. The instability of the stressed state due to large-scale repair works was experimentally established to be one of the possible causes for the accelerated development of SCC processes.
