Zusammenfassung:The scattering of a plane electromagnetic wave at a filamentary target is considered. The obtained expression for the scattering cross-section is used to derive a kinetic equation describing wave propagation in a parallel-fiber bundle. The intensity evolution of radiation propagating in a bundle of straight and bent fibers is considered. It is shown that there are conditions under which the radiation-intensity maximum shifts following the bending of a fiber bundle.
