Zusammenfassung:In various fields, carbonaceous nanofillers, especially graphene, play a promising role due to their broad area of applications which result from their quite good structural and functional characteristics. This paper reviews the use of graphene as a novel substitution in poly(ether ether ketone (PEEK) as a filler. Moreover, we focused on applications of PEEK/graphene nanocomposites. Furthermore, detailed information about the characterization of the nanocomposites is given. Discussion and analysis of the substantial changes in the mechanical and electrical properties of the polymer matrix are also presented. This is of great relevance since in the long term it can be assumed that certain class B structural parts of aircrafts can be produced by use of these composites.
