Zusammenfassung:To produce alkyl(C 1 -C 2 )- tert -alkyl(C 4 -C 7 ) ethers, different process designs are necessary depending on the raw materials and production rate. New production processes using catalytic distillation and cocurrent reactors are described and compared with conventional processes. The justification of the choice of efficient flow diagrams, reactors, and new methods for recovering C 1 -C 2 alcohols from hydrocarbon product streams is given.
