Zusammenfassung: | Precise determination of the number of degrees of freedom is of great significance in the design, operation, renovation, and optimization of chemical plants. Two fundamental works devoted to the determination of the number of degrees of freedom for chemical technology processes are considered, and the basic distinctions between the two approaches are discussed. It is explained why the numbers of degrees of freedom determined for the similar chemical engineering objects considered in those works are different. |
