Zusammenfassung:The article focuses on the development and results of tests of a scientific equipment unit comprising a pulsed plasma injector IPI-500 designed for scientific experiments on board the International Space Station . The main tasks of space experiments are considered. A model of the injector and a prototype of the scientific equipment with the IPI-500 injector with four discharge channels with coaxial geometry are developed. The main parameters of the injector model are experimentally studied. The scientific equipment unit with the IPI-500 injector is tested and the results are discussed.
