Zusammenfassung: | A thermodynamic analysis of the oxygen solutions in the carbon-containing Ni–Co melts is performed. The equilibrium constants of the reaction of carbon with oxygen, the activity coefficients at infinite dilution, and interaction parameters for melts differing in composition are determined at 1873 K. The dependences of the oxygen solubility in the nickel–cobalt melts on the cobalt and carbon contents are calculated. The contents of carbon monoxide (CO) and dioxide (CO
2
) in the gas phase over the melts are calculated. |
