Zusammenfassung:In the ternary reciprocal system Li,K‖I,CrO 4 , the stable diagonal Li 2 CrO 4 -(KI) 2 , the stable partitioning element (KI) 2 -LiKCrO 4 , and the stable triangle Li 2 CrO 4 -K 2 CrO 4 -(KI) 2 were studied by differential thermal analysis using the projection-thermographic method. The compound LiKCrO 4 melts congruently and undergoes two polymorphic transformations in the solid phase throughout the concentration range of the Li 2 CrO 4 -K 2 CrO 4 -(KI) 2 system. A T - x - y computer model of the phase complex of the system Li,K‖I,CrO 4 was constructed, which enabled one to obtain isothermal sections of the system and a polythermal section of the unstable diagonal and predict the characteristics of the ternary eutectic of the yet-unstudied stable triangle Li 2 CrO 4 -(LiI) 2 -(KI) 2 .
