Zusammenfassung:It is established that the excitation wavelength plays an important role in the attainment of maximum efficiency and the time dependence of the pump and lasing pulses under coherent microsecond pumping of dye solutions because the losses due to the molecular absorption in the channel of excited triplet levels, thermooptical distortions, and products of photochemical transformations play a minor role in the total energy balance in comparison with the spectrally dependent loss in the channel of excited singlet levels.
