Enhancement of Second-Harmonic Generation in a Micropillar Resonator Due to the Engineered Destructive Interference
We show that engineering the cavity aspect ratio of AlGaAs micropillar resonator allows for the two orders of magnitude increase in the efficiency of second harmonic generation at telecom wavelengths.
