Zusammenfassung:— Subsolidus phase relations in the Rb 2 MoO 4 –R 2 (MoO 4 ) 3 –Zr(MoO 4 ) 2 (R = Al, Fe, Cr, Y) systems have been studied for the first time by the method of “intersecting cuts.” Eight new triple molybdates, with the compositions Rb 5 RZr(MoO 4 ) 6 (R = Al, Fe, Cr, Y), RbRZr 0.5 (MoO 4 ) 3 (R = Al, Cr, Fe), and Rb 2 YZr 2 (MoO 4 ) 6.5 , have been identified in these systems. The thermal properties and crystallographic characteristics of some molybdates have been assessed.
