Radiation from Tritiated Thymidine Perturbs the Cell Cycle Progression of Stimulated Lymphocytes

Tritiated thymidine was found to affect the cell cycle progression of phytohemagglutinin-stimulated human lymphocytes. By means of flow cytometry a statistically significant increase in the G$_{2}$ and M phases of the cell cycle was observed in cultures with low concentrations of tritiated thymidine...

Zusammenfassung:Tritiated thymidine was found to affect the cell cycle progression of phytohemagglutinin-stimulated human lymphocytes. By means of flow cytometry a statistically significant increase in the G$_{2}$ and M phases of the cell cycle was observed in cultures with low concentrations of tritiated thymidine added 18 hours before the cultures were harvested.
