Visualization of Standing Acoustic Waves Using Time-Averaged Optical Holographic Interferometry
Time-averaged optical holographic interferograms of standing acoustic waves (longitudinal modes), in a duct of square cross section, have been obtained. The three-dimensional fringe patterns clearly indicate the locations of the antinodal planes.
