Zusammenfassung:The forces due to acoustic radiation in a beam of finite cross section in a nonviscous medium striking a plane reflector at oblique incidence are derived from simple mechanical considerations. The formulas are applied to a wedge-shaped vane. For a vane, the wings of which include an angle of 90°, the force turns out to be quite independent of the coefficient of reflection at the boundary between vane and medium.
