Zusammenfassung: | The SGEMP community has demonstrated an ability to compute the response of complicated objects to an incident flux of energetic photons. There have been two general approaches taken for the solution of these problems: the "brute force" approach and the P-driver technique. Both approaches are discussed. The limitation of the P-driver to high fluences and the cost of 3-D particle codes led to a search for a new technique for approximating the electron motion. The fluid-like approach described in this paper provides a basis for such a technique. |
