Zusammenfassung: | The details and philosophy of an interdisciplinary course that combines bioelectrical measurements and research preparation are described. This lecture-laboratory course is offered to students in bioengineering, electrical engineering, and biology in an attempt to provide some of the modern tools, techniques, and experiences necessary to perform quantitative experimental research. A systematic approach to research is used to guide the student to a final independent investigation of a problem of his choice. The combination of measurements and research experience of an interdisciplinary nature, for students with widely varying backgrounds, presents some rather unique advantages and difficulties that may be of interest to educators. |
