Zusammenfassung: | In this article, a simple formula for estimating the power density from a base station for a compliance assessment is proposed. One of the most popular methods for estimating the power density and achieving compliance is applying the formula provided in the ITU-T K.52 standard, which involves a plane wave ground reflection based on the Fresnel coefficient and actual antenna pattern. However, the ITU-T K.52 formula has a major drawback in that its estimation typically leads to a large overestimation of the exposure power density. Several environmental factors of an installation scenario are therefore considered to overcome this overestimation, and the pseudo reflection coefficient is defined based on the maximum power density. The proposed formula is verified herein by comparing the estimation results with the ray tracing computations. |
