Zusammenfassung:Within the program to develop superconducting insertion devices at ANKA, work is ongoing to build a cryogen-free superconducting switch. This can be applied to switch the period length and to switch different correction coils. The superconducting switch allows reducing the number of power supplies and consequently the thermal load to the device. In this paper, we present the results of our tests to develop a cryogen-free superconducting switch.
