Zusammenfassung: | We propose a microwave photonic method for frequency and arrival of angle (AOA) measurement of unknown signals. The key novelty is that we can get both parameters simultaneously. Moreover, our approach supports multiple signals measurement at the same time. We build a new frequency-to-time mapping structure that is possible to convert the frequency and AOA of the unknown signal into the time interval and the amplitude of the microwave pulses, respectively. Therefore, the frequency and the AOA of the target signal can be simultaneously measured. In addition, we can also measure multiple signals at the same time thanks to the time-interval independence of the microwave pulses. A proof-of-concept experiment is carried out. An unknown frequency measurement from 1 to 9 GHz with errors of ±2 MHz and AOA measurement from −73.4° to 73.4° with errors less than ±3°are simultaneously realized. The measurement of multi-signal is also experimentally verified. |
