Zusammenfassung:This paper provides selected information related to the operation and maintenance of steam turbine generators, as practiced on the Southern California Edison Company system. The methods outlined are the result of years of progressive development and necessarily reflect the predominant characteristics of the system which they serve. Certain of these characteristics will be outlined as the basis for a better understanding of the existing operating methods.
