Zusammenfassung: | The British Hydromechanics Research Association has now completed ten years and has advanced a long way from its early precarious existence with a very small income. Growth has proceeded uninterrupted since the opening of the Harlow laboratory in 1951. The accounts for the year ending September 1957 show their income at over £64,000 and expenditure at under £55,000. The Association is grateful to Imperial Chemical Industries for contributing an additional donation of £3,000 per annum towards the cost of the Association's research on seals. |
