APPLICATIONS OF ULTRASTABILITY

Ross Ashby's concept of ultrastability in a cybernetic system is shown to have certain mathematical properties of considerable importance for workers in operational research and allied fields. One application is in the study of centralization vs. de-centralization within an organization.
