Ethyl 3‐(7‐bromo‐2,3‐dihydro‐1‐benzofuran‐5‐yl)propanoate
The title compound, C13H15BrO3, was synthesized by the reaction of ethyl 3‐(2,3‐dihydro‐1‐benzofuran‐5‐yl)propanoate with bromine. The benzofuran system is planar and subtends an angle of 87.27 (9)° with the propanoate unit.
