Zusammenfassung:The title compound, C27H43NO2·H2O, is the monohydrate of a common naturally occurring steroidal alkaloid, for which an X‐ray crystal structure has previously been published [Turdybekov, Lindeman, Struchkov, Gaza­liev, Balitskii & Zhurinov (1989). Chem. Nat. Compd.25, 75–76]. This paper reports the correct structure of the title compound and proposes an alternative interpretation of the structure reported in the 1989 paper.
