Zusammenfassung:The molecular structure of a mixed ter­phenyl COT complex [COT is cyclo­octatetraene] of the element yttrium of composition (Dpp)Y(COT)(μ‐Cl)Li(THF)3 [Dpp is 2,6‐di­phenyl­phenyl and THF is tetrahydrofuran] or [LiY(C8H8)(C18H13)Cl(C4H8O)] is reported. The monomeric complex is composed of one η8‐bonded COT and one σ‐bonded ter­phenyl ligand, as well as a lithium chloride moiety with the alkali metal atom being solvated by three tetra­hydro­furan mol­ecules.
