Zusammenfassung:S>A theory of superconductors is described that includes both strong- field and nonlocal effects, using the Pippard kernel. The theory is used in a study of the temperatare dependence of the critical magnetic field. It is found that systematic discrepancies between the theory and experimental values exist, which are at least partly resolved if the Pippard kernel is replaced by the BCS kernel. (T.F.H.)
