Zusammenfassung:The electron spin resonance in colloidal lithium metal produced in ultraviolet-irradiated LiH was investigated at room temperature. The "overhauser shift' of the electron resonance frequency due to nuclear polarization may be observed. By an electron-nuclear double resonance experiment it is shown that the polarization of the metallic lithium nuclei probably causes polarization of the lithium i.e., the nonmetallic nuclei are the thermal contact with the nuclei in the metal and tend to come to the same spin temperature.
