Zusammenfassung: | Samples of Bk and Cf have been separated from neutronirradiated Pu and carefully purified. Pure Cf/sup 249/ daughter has been separated from the Bk/sup 249/. The Cf sample and its Cm decay products have been mass analyzed. The Bk fraction contained 314 plus or minus 8 day Bk/sup 249/ emitting 0.114 plus or minus 0.115 Mev beta particles and 5.417 plus or minus 0.015 Mev and 5.03 plus or minus 0.03 Mev alpha particles. The alpha - beta ratio was found to be (2.2 plus or minus 0. 10/sup -5/. The Cf sample contained: 360 plus or minus 40 year Cf/sup 249/ emitting 5.808 plus or minus 0.010, 5.93 plus or minus 0.02, and 6.20 plus or minus 0.02 Mev alpha par ticles; 10.9 plus or minus 0.8 year Cf/sup 250/ emitting 6.020 plus or minus 0.010 Mev alpha particles; 800-year Cf/sup 251/; 2.55 plus or minus 0.15 year Cf/sup 252/ emitting 6.112 plus or minus 0.015 Mev alpha particles; and 17 plus or minus 1 day Cf/sup 253/.
