Transverse-momentum distributions in lepton-hadron scattering from quantum chromodynamics
We use quantum-chromodynamic perturbation theory to calculate dsigma/dx/sub H/dydPi/sub T/ in electromagnetic lepton-hadron scattering, where Pi/sub T/ is the sum over all produced hadrons of the absolute value of the component of three-momentum perpendicular to the virtual-photon direction.
