Zusammenfassung:Cross-sections have been measured for the dissociation of 200 keV H2+ ions in H2, D2, He, N2, O2, Ne, A, Kr, Xe, CH4, H2S, CO2 and N2O. Measurements have also been made at 175, 150 and 100 keV for H2 and He and at 150 keV for N2 and A. For each gas and each energy, the mean number of protons produced in the dissociation of a molecular ion has been obtained. For H2, N2 and A, observations have been made of the angular distribution of the H° particles about the direction of the primary 200 keV H2+ ions.
