Nutritional Surveillance of the Elderly: Methods to Determine Program Impact and Unmet Need
Nutritional surveillance of the elderly provides ongoing evidence that nutrition programs, both federal and state, can help to reduce health costs for those elderly whose care is otherwise so costly to the taxpayer. This article examines the development of one such program in New York State.
