Zusammenfassung:Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a chronic disease of childhood associated with chronic pulmonary dysfunction, malabsorption due to pancreatic insufficiency, steatorrhea, and malnutrition. The purpose of the present study was to measure REE, nutritional status parameters, and pulmonary functions in prepubescent children with CF to more accurately estimate caloric needs and determine the relationships of various anthropometric measurements and pulmonary function tests
