Zusammenfassung:This pilot study of the effect of I-epinephrine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, and vasopressin on placental circulation suggests that administration of each of the drugs results in reduced maternal uteroplacental circulation. This effect appears to be dose related. There is no radiologic evidence that any of the drugs reduce fetal placental circulation. All these drugs cross the placenta in both directions.
