Zusammenfassung:Magnitudes of relationships are important for determining statistically significant findings. To devise standards for establishing them and for comparing them to those of future research, the authors computed magnitudes of relationships for all statistically significant findings reported in 10 social work journals from 1981 to 1983 and compiled frequency distributions for these values. They found that these relationships are not being interpreted consistently.
