Zusammenfassung: | The paper presents an ‘exact’ method of analysis of highly redundant two-dimensional continuous structures. No simultaneous equations are used, and all calculations may be done by slide rule. The method is a mathematical analogue of the experimental one using unloaded models. The general case is considered, but for ordinary use considerable simplification is possible. The procedure is illustrated by an example of a three-span continuous-arch system involving nine redundancies. |
