Zusammenfassung:In order to assess the suitability of existing neutron individual dosimetry systems for measurements in terms of the new dose equivalent operational quantities it is important to increase the knowledge of their behaviour under various irradiation conditions. Within the scope of a research project considering the possibility of completing or replacing irradiation experiments by numerical calculations, two types of individual dosemeters, the French PGPDIN and the universal albedo dosemeter developed in Karlsruhe, both based on LiF TLD chips, were experimentally investigated. The investigations were performed with neutrons using the research reactor FMRB and the Van-de-Graaff accelerator of the PTB. The irradiation conditions cover a set of ISO energies, angles between 0 o and 180 o, a sphere, a slab, and an elliptical hollow cylinder as phantoms, all consisting of polyethylene, and irradiations free-in-air. A summary of first results is presented as an interim report.
