Zusammenfassung: | Hungarian produced CR-39 detectors irradiated with protons of energy 3-18 MeV and with 14.7 MeV neutrons through a thick PE radiator were etched at 22 oC and 70 oC in NaOH solution. The increase in diameter of tracks as a function of proton energy was measured. Different delays were found in the starting time of the etched track developing for different energies. A comparison was made between the results obtained for 22 oC and 70 oC. The sensitivity function was determined for both temperatures. |
