Alteration of levels of cyclic nucleotides in response to anaerobiosis in rice [Oryza sativa] seedlings

The imposition of anaerobic conditions resulted in a rapid (2 min) and transient increase in cGMP content in root and coleoptile of rice seedlings. The level of cAMP was strongly decreased by anoxia. These data are discussed in relation to the anaerobic response.
