Zusammenfassung:A generalization of a transformation due to Kurskov & Ozernoi is used to rewrite the usual equations governing subsonic turbulence in Robertson–Walker cosmological models as Navier–Stokes equations with a time-dependent viscosity. This paper first rederives some well-known results in a very simple way by means of this transformation. The main result however is that the establishment of a Kolmogorov spectrum at recombination appears to be incompatible with subsonic turbulence. The conditions after recombination are also discussed briefly.
